Forums

Forums are great place to meet new people and get valuable information. I am apart of a couple of really good forums and I thought that I would share. Some of you already know, but for those who don't, well you now you do!

Absolute Write Water Cooler: This is my number one best site. Everyone is extremely helpful and the resources and connections obtained are invaluable to a writer.

Kindle Forums: This is good site to for information and learning. This site is a little more confusing to navigate, but once you get the hang of it, it is an awesome site.

PubIt: They have a forum, while I find it confusing, some people like it.

WritingForum.com: this has the same setup as AW (First on list). I am new to this one, so I will have to get back to this later.

Yahoo Groups are another valuable site to meet other authors and gain information.

Feel free to add to the list if anyone can come up with other good sites!

  1. For people who want to go the self pub route, interesting info can be had at these 3 sites:

    A Newbie's Guide to Publishing

J.A. makes a lotta dough thru epublishing. He's of the opinion that trad publishing is not the way to go. YMMV.

    Dean Wesley Smith

Check out his Killing the Sacred Cows of Publishing on his blog. Interesting and sometimes horrifying stuff.

    Kristine Kathryn Rusch

Wife of Dean Wesley Smith. Has a great series on modern writer survival skills.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

    Ciao! :-)
